Hastings County Plowing Match, Aug. 2012

Prince Edward Hastings Federal Liberals were once again a presence at the Hastings County Plowing Match at Donnandale Farm on Hwy 62 North on August 22, 23rd. Spreading the word that Liberals Grow Democracy, match goers were offered the opportunity to speak with our Directors, to fill in surveys and to let us know what they need Liberals to do in leadership. We gave away shiny red apples, literature on current issues and bag clips with Liberal insignia and contact information. It is always a pleasure to speak with concerned voters and to be responsive to their concerns.

Belleville Canada Day, July 2012

A big group of Liberals in their Red shirts volunteered to staff some of the activities at Belleville’s Canada Day activities in Zwick’s Park. The kids kept us so busy, we didn’t even get a photo! A great day to celebrate our country with our community! :-)

Rally For Democracy, March 2012

On March 7 at 5 p.m. a hundred strong crowd of concerned Canadians gathered at the Belleville Market to call for a Judicial Inquiry into illegal tactics used during the 2011 federal election.  As the evidence builds of wide-spread voter suppression activity, anger builds among citizens who believe that this illegal and immoral behaviour must stop.  Your PEH Federal Liberal Association considers the possibility of interference with the right to vote an extremely serious attack on democracy and fair elections.  Let Elections Canada and the RCMP be proactive in identifying and apprehending wrong-doers!  Let there be a Judicial Inquiry that will restore confidence in the electoral process here in Canada!
